The student 38 hour course is spread out over 4 days in the summer or during the longer breaks during the school year i.e. Christmas/Thanksgiving Break. The 4 days are usually consecutive but not always and this is not a requirement. What is required, is that each student be present for all 4 classroom days, and that each student receives their TIP before the first day of class.
No, not for the classroom portion however the student is required to get their TIP (Temporary Instructional Permit) before the classroom portion.
Yes, anyone applying for a license must get a TIP from the DMV prior to attending driver education classes.
Go to our registration page and choose the location you want to attend. A popup with the available dates will be shown, choose a date and continue to the end of the form, filling out all the boxes, and finally click submit at the end and you will be registered for the class/date/location that you chose when you began. Our main office is in Jennings and any questions, concerns or comments can be directed there. You can contact us by mail or phone.

No. We need the students full attention and do not want the extra distraction of someone talking to them from the backseat. Also, you cannot use a cell phone while you are in the vehicle and you must wear your seatbelt 100% of the time.
Yes, Drive Right is fully insured and licensed. We also have the correct safety features on all of our vehicles, including dual brakes, and dual rearview mirrors. We have developed a standard of critical maintenance for our vehicles, not only lubrication but as well as wheel rubber & overall condition, exterior glass for clear unobstructed vision and periodic brake checks. We maintain our fleet with great diligence to be sure our vehicles are safe for you and your (ours too) loved ones.
